I understand there is plenty of discuss how visitor posting is dead. But could it be really? I don't believe so.
I have been getting a little bit more traffic to one of my sites, Celebration Some ideas Excitement, and among the things that helps me gain some much-needed traction is accepting visitor posts.
Only this week I had two new bloggers and business homeowners to send me articles that I placed on my blog. They were both very intriguing articles that benefited my visitors while supporting out yet another blogger.
I think, when you introduction a blog and it begins finding a little traffic, accepting articles from different bloggers really helps construct your blog too. How?
Your visitor writer may reveal your blog inside their social networks, therefore now your blog gets more exposure.
You'll begin getting noticed as somebody who helps different bloggers. While their blog gets some backlinks from yours, you can also gain backlinks and even more traffic because they reveal the link to your blog using their network.
You obtain unique content and never having to write it yourself.
You construct level in your blog by adding more variety and various viewpoints from various writers.
And you're able to support different newer bloggers by giving them some room expressing their creativity.
I accept visitor posts on all my sites for all of those reasons. And I have noticed some improved traffic for them, essentially on autopilot. There are certainly a large amount of new sites launching every single day, and something which they still understand would be to Bing the phrases "publish a visitor article" or "accepting visitor posts."
And if you're in a certain market, and if you're open to the notion of allowing others to provide content for the blog, you're establishing a win-win for both your self and different bloggers.
How to Take Visitor Posts
What I did was put up a full page specifically for people to publish their articles. It lists what I'm searching for and specific criteria that must be achieved for every submission.
This is the way the site reads:
We're accepting visitor posts for our blog. When you publish your article:
Familiarize your self with this blog, their content and groups;
Posts should be at the least 400 phrases;
Posts should be published as TEXT files, please (*.txt);
Posts should be grammatically correct and prepared in ENGLISH;
Please contain your complete name and your blog or business term for the article byline;
You could contain TWO links back to your blog or store - as long as they are also relevant to this blog. Only use good sense, please!
All posts will undoubtedly be manually examined for content and placed within 24 to 48 hours. I hold the right to create any non-critical edits as needed (spelling, grammar, punctuation) before posting and article in the category where this article suits best.
Make sure you bookmark this blog and check always back frequently for new posts!
And while you're here, flick through and keep remarks on different posts - and reveal this blog with your friends and visitors also!
Publish your visitor article with this particular form.
And then I add a contact variety that enables them to attach their article.
I don't do visitor posting myself on different sites; when I write an authentic report, it's for my own personal blog. But accepting visitor posts maintains my sites productive and fresh without me having to write each article!
